DO Network

The goal of the Decentralized Organization Network is to realize high-throughput TPS on the chain to be better serve the needs of DAO. We believe that the unlimited development of network scale will lead to continuous degradation of on-chain performance, and the balance point lies in the compromise of decentralization. From the design point of view of DO Network, we try to make the network decentralized and meet the needs of on-chain high performance at the same time.

The DO Network will initially accommodate 499 physical nodes, and we will implement data communication between nodes in a fully connected state. Each node in the network has a network list of the locations of other nodes. When a node leaves or joins the list, it remains synchronized with other nodes in the network.

The design of the Network layer is to ensure more efficient transmission of data on the chain. In the Network layer, DO Network designs some strategy mechanisms: If a node leaves the network or loses contact for some reason, the other nodes should get the message and update their list status as soon as possible. We do not want a node with an incomplete network list data state to do any useless data broadcast. In addition to the hinge location information, the network list also stores some hinge status data to confirm whether the basal status of the node meets the requirements at the current time.

DO Network establishes network licenses based on performance requirements, and the total number of physical nodes is 499. If the network nodes grow to over 499 nodes, the network licensing mechanism will conduct a stake rank for all nodes. The 499th node is the last node to enter the network, and the 500th node will lose the verification qualification and cannot participate in the DO Network. Assuming the consistent stakes number, and will rank the nodes according to their first stake timestamp. The earlier the node is, the more advanced it will be. We believe this mechanism retains the decentralized DO Network characteristics and meets the network performance requirements. Therefore, please keep your observation of the node ranking after capping the network size, and ensure the reliability of the node hardware performance. Once the node hardware performance is too low, the node data status will be abnormal, and the trustor has the right to leave your node at any time, which will affect your ranking directly.
